Top 200 Songs Expanded to Offer More Suggestions

The Top 200 Most Requested Songs list has been enhanced and expanded to offer even more suggestions. There are now separate lists for Top 200, Top 1960s, Top 1970s, Top 1980s, Top 1990s, Top 2000s, bride & groom, bride & father, groom & mother, bridal party, bouquet toss, garter toss, and cake cutting. Its been a busy one in our office. I have spent alot of time researching search engines and whats needed to get good placement. Some very interesting information and i hope the little changes will help our placement on google, yahoo, msn and alike.

Changes to the Wedding DJs include the opt in/out panel for our wedding tips email. This should make the whole process alot easier. So please feel free to join then sit back and wait for those helpful tips to arrive.

I have also spent a lot of time this week helping my wife relaunch her  PC game website. So lots of emails, press releases and phone calls. Her site membership has already increased so happy days.

Lastly for now i was speaking to my friend Will who is a Registered ADI (thats a driving instructor to you and me) in Blackpool. He asked me if i knew anyone who wanted driving lessons. So if you looking for lessons on the Fylde Coast please drop Will an email at willtodrive(@)hotmail.com. Dont forget to take the brackets out, they are there to stop the spamming robots harvesting the address.

I like cd's and i still use them, i think its because it gives you someone to see and feel unlike a digital download. But it looks like the days of the Cd are numbered based on these two articles.

Downloads boost 2008 single sales

UK singles sales grew by 33% in 2008 thanks to a growth in download sales, the BPI has said.

Figures from the body, which represents record labels, showed more than 115 million singles were sold across digital and physical formats.

Hit40ukThe commercial radio chart show hit40uk is to no longer reflect CD sales in its weekly countdown. This historic move comes after figures show 96 per cent of sales in the charts are downloads only.
Paul Jackson, Group Programme Director Hit40UK said: “Downloads have now become the driving force for record sales, as the statistics clearly show. It makes complete sense that the UK’s most listened to chart show reflects the changes in how people are listening to music. We constantly look to innovate and sit at the cutting edge of music taste and trends.”

so is it bye bye to the CD?

well there is good news for us poor consumers, but not for troubled music retailer Zavvi, they are to start a sale with up to 50% off, starting this friday.
